Technology!
Over this past semester of Clinical Teaching, I have learned a lot of about technology and how it works, how it can be incorporated into lessons, and etc. However, there were times I was not a fan of technology and how it worked. When I needed something for a lesson, it wasn't there for me to find or more a less use. Some of the time, I was successful others it was a fail. I really felt like I would use technology like no other, it being my right-hand gadget; but I did more of my lessons with book, paper, and pencil type thing. I think it was because a lot of the things that I was trying to use or find wasn't accessible or plausible for me to use in the lessons.
Changes that I would make from my technology filled experience would be to try and incorporate more some way or another. Technology is a huge thing, of course. However, students learn best by being taught by their teacher, from word of mouth; and not forced in front of a video to listen too and learn from. Although, some videos can be a huge help, by furthering the information that the students already learned from their teacher.
All in all, technology is awesome, but there is a time and place when it is used and can be helpful, then there are times where paper, book, and pencil work as well.
