Philosophy of Education
As a teacher, my ideal perception of my students is that they stand in the center of my attention. In light of that, I plan to provide a positive, caring, and a comfortable environment for my students in my classroom. I plan to have plenty of opportunity for them to succeed. I as the teacher will provide that opportunity to the best of my ability. I feel that positive encouragement will have my students loving to learn. I strongly believe that if my students do not have support to succeed, then they will not be successful in life or in my classroom. If my students do not feel like they can succeed, it is on me as the teacher to be the example to show them how. Merely, if they do not succeed, I do not either.
In my classroom I believe that there is always room for improvement. I as the teacher will encourage my students to continue to grow in their work. They will never be able to say “they cannot improve” because I will constantly remind them of the importance behind never giving up. I also strongly believe that my students will be able to carry on their own responsibilities. Having responsibilities is very important to me as a teacher; I believe that my students should know the importance about carrying on their own responsibilities in and outside the classroom. Their responsibilities can be either big or small, depending on what they choose to accomplish.
Overall, my students will be especially important to me. In my classroom, I will treat all my students equally, and respect them for who they are. I also will teach them that our classroom is our own personal home, where everyone is loved, cared for, and succeeds beyond measure. My calling as a teacher is to make a positive difference in the life and learning of each of my students.
